Discover
why different personalities can be a challenge to work with—and why you need them
on the team! Discover how to relate better to others. Two personality assessments, Myers
Briggs and DISC, measure different things about team members'
personalities. Both are quick, fun and good. Ideally, you need them both. This knowledge
is important for team members to gain awareness and tips about themselves and others.
It will serve them well throughout their lives on all their teams, both at work and at
home.
Myers Briggs is best for appreciating your own and each others' strengths
and challenges. Online personality assessment takes about 15 minutes. The Personality
Types Workshop takes 1.5 to 3 hours.
Myers Briggs: One of the most valuable experiences you can give your team members.
Full of Aha's and Chuckles!
Always a fun, rewarding, feel-good workshop!
The results last a lifetime; you'll gain a greater acceptance and understanding of yourself and others!
Myers Briggs, based on the work of Carl Jung, is one of the oldest, most widely used,
and most highly reliable personality assessment indicators in the world. If you take
it many times throughout your life, it will always give you the same results because
it's
about
who
you really are inside. It's not about your behaviors, which can change from situation
to situation. The theory is that we all have dominances in our personalities, much the
same as we have them in our physical bodies. We have preferences about how we like to
energize, receive information, make decisions and live our lifestyle, in much the same
as we are right-handed or left-handed.
The personality assessment result is a blended style of 4 modalities. There are 16 types.
Each personality type is unique and wonderful! Once you know your personality type, books
are widely available on
all aspects
of interpersonal relationships using the Myers Briggs Type Indicator—from finding
the right career for your personality type to building your team. You'll receive a booklet
that explains all the personality types, so that you can better understand your team members'
personality types.
Participants gain better understanding of each others' intentions and motivations, often illuminating and dissolving potential sources of conflict and misunderstanding. Exploring communication preferences helps teammates work more effectively together. You'll experience many "aha's" and chuckles in the session.
