a workshop that teaches communication skills and processes of resOLIVEing conflict
using the OLIVE™ model
and skills: objectivity, listening, assertiveness, and team problem solving.

OLIVE™ is an acronym for a proven,
simple process for working through and resolving conflict. When you are in the heat of
conflict, it's helpful to have an acronym in mind so you can remember the communication
process.
You'll learn the process and communication skills, plus you'll practice, practice,
practice so you'll actually use the process and communication skills after the workshop.
OLIVE™ is best used as an advanced communication skills course following "Do
the Tough Stuff" Workshop. Tough Stuff lays a firm foundation in the
people skills used in conflict resolution—active listening, assertive communication,
saying no and keeping the relationship and ouchless feedback. OLIVE™ provides
additional communication skills of Objectivity and Team Problem Solving along with
lots of practice using all the people skills to resolve conflict.
